We believe that working in healthcare is a tremendous privilege and a calling. It is so much more than just a career. How can we use this gift to honor and serve Jesus?
SCF offers opportunities to serve the underserved, and to live out our faith in the healthcare context. You will learn how to integrate your Christian faith into your patient care - on the mission field, in your work at home, and during your training.
Our trips are open to medical students, health professional students, residents/fellows, and faculty at UT Southwestern.
EL PASO, TX
Using the gift of healthcare to be a blessing to the underserved. Every year over Spring Break, SCF brings a team of students, physicians, advanced practice providers to El Paso, TX to serve in under-served, under-resourced areas all over the city. Students get to have direct patient interaction and also get to practice medical spanish.
