“Jim Elliot once said, “He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.” Radical obedience to Christ is not easy; it is dangerous. It is not smooth sailing aboard a luxury liner; it is sacrificial duty aboard a troop carrier. It’s not comfort, not health, not wealth, and not prosperity in this world. Radical obedience to Christ risks losing all these things. But in the end, such risk finds its reward in Christ. And he is more than enough for us.”
— David Platt

This coming spring of 2020, we will have 2 medical mission trips:

El Paso, TX and Lima, Peru

One of the most important goals of SCF is to GROW future medical missionaries that will use their God-given abilities to serve both locally and globally for the cause of Christ.

Every year, SCF organizes both local & international medical mission trips and provide free healthcare to the underserved population. Students that come on the trip:

• Learn to Cultivate a TRUST relationship between YOU and the patient

• Engage in patient education which is vitally important

• Improve their Medical Spanish

• Take patient histories and complete physical exams (after the physician’s demonstration)

• Dispense medications through the pharmacy
