2026 BIOETHICS CONFERENCE

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2026

VENUE: Dallas Theological Seminary

3909 Swiss Ave, Dallas, TX 75204

The focus of our 2026 BIOETHICS CONFERENCE is understanding and discussing the biblical basis for Conscience Freedoms in the healthcare realm.

What are Conscience Freedoms?  It is the right to hold and act upon one's own moral beliefs, even if those beliefs differ even in the face of opposition.  It encompasses the freedom to form one's own opinions, beliefs, and convictions, and to act in accordance with them. This freedom is considered a fundamental human right, closely related to freedom of thought, religion, and expression.

Plenary Speakers include:

Dr Jeffrey J. Barrows, DO, MA (Ethics) - Senior Vice President of Bioethics and Public Policy for Christian Medical & Dental Associations. Dr. Barrows is an obstetrician/gynecologist, author, educator, medical ethicist, and speaker.

Dr Andre Van Mol - Board-certified family physician in full-time practice in California. He co-chairs the Christian Medical & Dental Associations Sexual & Gender Identity Task Force, and is the transgenderism scholar for both the CMDA and the American Academy of Medical Ethics.

Tyson Langhofer - Senior counsel and Director of the Center for Academic Freedom with Alliance Defending Freedom, a non-partisan entity that supports conscience freedoms.
