THE FOCUS OF OUR 2026 BIOETHICS CONFERENCE IS UNDERSTANDING AND DISCUSSING THE BIBLICAL BASIS FOR CONSCIENCE FREEDOMS IN THE HEALTHCARE REALM.

WHAT ARE CONSCIENCE FREEDOMS?  IT IS THE RIGHT TO HOLD AND ACT UPON ONE'S OWN MORAL BELIEFS, EVEN IF THOSE BELIEFS DIFFER EVEN IN THE FACE OF OPPOSITION.  IT ENCOMPASSES THE FREEDOM TO FORM ONE'S OWN OPINIONS, BELIEFS, AND CONVICTIONS, AND TO ACT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THEM. THIS FREEDOM IS CONSIDERED A FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHT, CLOSELY RELATED TO FREEDOM OF THOUGHT, RELIGION, AND EXPRESSION.
